[ trotting over!!! xie lian looks. slightly less panicked than he did earlier, and he greets flat with a bow of his head. ]

I got news from Mister Van Zieks about Susato.

[ straight to the point. no need to beat around the bush in a situation like this. ]

He says that he heard that Susato will come back.

[ xie lian touches a hand to his heart. ]

...Mmm. I just confirmed it with a Watcher, as well - that her presence is here, and has not dissipated into dust.

Still, it is unlikely that we will be able to find her tonight - and that means that it is imperative that we find her tomorrow, in case we run low on time. It also means that Rex and Tsurumaru are dead.

[ his heart aches at the thought - tsurumaru, especially, he was very close to. ]

I get it. It’s tough, isn’t it?

[ his expression softens a bit at the mention of tsurumaru and rex. while flat wasn’t particularly close to either of them…

well, their losses are a pity, aren’t they? ]

We’ll find her. And hopefully the killer for Rex and Tsuru too. I believe in us, still.
