He knows there's something ... off about Flat, but he feels a connection to him because he is (was) the Master of a Berserker-class Servant. Even if he's no longer a Servant, there's still some things he can't let go of. There was also the fact that they'd murdered someone together and you just don't come back from that. There's some sort of bizarre connection between them and that's good enough for him. Flat needs someone who's able to handle him and his behavior and Berserker is ... mostly confident he can do that. ]

It's a warm, but dimly lit room, welcoming in its own way. The witch in charge of the ceremony sits on a stool, reading a book to fill time. The pair of them get an indifferent glance and a shrug. ]

he takes berserker's hand with his own when offered, looking up at him expectantly. he winks, grinning. ]
[ Berserker allows himself a faint smile. It really hasn't been long since he'd taken on a second bond with Geralt and he's still adjusting to it. Is it really a good idea to take on a third so soon...? Mm, that nagging thought is easily pushed aside as he clasps Flat's hand in his own.
The witch officiating stands up and puts his hand above theirs, starting to chant a spell. The magic circle beneath them, previously unseen without its charge, begins to glow. It's an intense sensation already as Berserker can feel the magic beginning to pulse through him. He closes his eyes for a moment, steadying his breathing. ]
I, Ciarán Cú, promise you, Flat Escardos, my loyalty and my spear. This loyalty will never falter unless you break away from it. Your burdens are mine and mine are yours. Your victories are mine and mine are yours. I will give you honesty when you ask anything of me. I give you all of this and expect nothing in return, but I know you will give me more than that...I take you as my Bonded freely and willingly.
[ as flat listens to cu’s vows, his mind wanders into various directions. he wonders if he has said this for all the others, or if he took his time to create a new one. if it’s the former, then there’s no issue—it’s efficient. if it’s the latter... then that would make him feel better. special, even.
he wonders if cu is nervous, and what he can do to help it. all he can think of is squeezing his hand a little tighter. the vow is earnest, and even flat feels somewhat moved by it. he wonders if he can promise as much as berserker has promised him.
once it’s his turn, it takes a moment for flat to gather his jumbled thoughts together to speak. ]
I, Flat Escardos, promise to give you, Ciarán Cú all of me that I have to give. My loyalty to you is unwavering and, if you’ll be my spear, then I will be your shield and the light that guides you in the darkest times. I take you as my Bonded, Ciarán Cú, willingly and freely.
[ Some of what he's said he's promised to his other Bondmates, but he takes the time to create new vows for each of them. It's only fair for as seriously as he takes this ceremony. A faint pulsing can soon be felt between them -- Berserker has done this twice before and it never gets any less striking for him to deal with. They're tied together magically and he can feel Flat's presence within him. It's a different feeling from Diarmuid and Geralt, distinct and difficult to describe.
The magic circle beneath them gradually fades, the spell complete and the Bonding successful. Berserker takes a deep breath and slowly sighs it out through his nose. Opening himself to one person, let alone three now, is a huge step and he still struggles with it. The witch officiating offers them at least a smile (forced though it may be) before returning to where they'd been sitting.
He doesn't release Flat's hand or even move just yet. ]

[ Not that Berserker feels much for Flat to experience, but even without strong emotions, one can still feel the presence of another within themselves. ]

[ Of the three Bonds he has, Diarmuid's emotions are the most clear; Geralt's are buried and distant. Flat's are strange, even Berserker can notice that with how unfamiliar most emotions are to him. It's unsurprising that his emotions are unusual, given his normal behavior.
Something resembling a warm emotion resonates through their Bond. He leans down and gently presses his forehead against Flat's, the pulse of magic growing stronger with the contact. It's a warm, pleasant feeling, one that Berserker's come to actually enjoy. ]
[ the magic that flows between them is warm and comforting, and flat himself feels like a battery that’s being recharged. though his mannerisms didn’t show it as much, he had been on the brink of exhaustion, barely staying awake for more than a few hours at a time. cu had come at the perfect time, rescuing him from his own weakness.
so, though he can’t voice the extent of it, he is truly grateful to have berserker around with him.
he laughs, wrapping his arms behind cu’s shoulders in a hug. ]
