I feel like I am. I’ve been assured that I am. I may not be a natural born human, but I have the heart and mind and soul of one. I even have a flesh and blood body now, though that’s what added the fae part into the mix. But if I can count as human, even with wings and a major iron allergy—

at least the music gets his mind off of it all, and he grins at hakuno, squeezing her hand gently. ]
Come on, let’s go! I can’t wait to teach you how to dance!
[She lets him change the subject and sweep her up into his pace, though, because that’s better than him dwelling on his death, its purpose, or the aftermath. She settles into position, shifting her hand in his grasp to a proper, raised clasp.]
I have yet to have a proper lesson, but by now I’m at least confident I can follow a good lead.
