He's very smart, and everyone respects him, despite being one of the weakest mages in the place. No one can beat him at investigations or negotiations, and he even manages to make his opponents look good, despite him being annoyed over it. And he cares for all of his students, too. Even though I and other students cause him trouble, he'll do whatever it takes to help us, even if it means putting his own life at risk.

He's the only Professor that didn't kick me out of their class and also the first that treated me like a normal human. If it weren't for him, I'm sure that I would have been a failure.

I'll be honest, sir. I don't regret any of the things that I did, not even killing A-Qing or poisoning Rochalízo. I didn't even vote for myself, during trial. I'm not happy about what I did, but I won't lie and say that I feel guilty either. What I was afraid and upset about...was disappointing you and my Professor, I guess.
Mr. Escardos....Flat...I can't say that hearing what you did to Miss A-Qing wasn't disappointing. But at the very least...I can say that it is good, that you worked it out on her own terms, at the very least.
That is my task for you. If you don't regret it...if you can't regret it, for whatever reason, then put all your efforts into helping the ones around you. One must atone, after all. You especially must apologize to Miss A-Qing whenever we get her back to our side.
